  • The Two-Way 414 breather valve was originally developed to provide pressure relief to electrical cabinets aboard military reconnaissance aircraft in the event of rapid decompression.   • The 556 two-way breather valve is used extensively on military enclosures and provides pressure relief in a variety of scenarios. It protects the enclosure from excess pressure and vacuum during air transport, equalizes pressure due to temperature fluctuations, and relieves back pressure developed when a door is opened and closed. To manually equalize container pressure, the valve can be opened by pressing the button in the center of the screen. The valve is installed using the included hex mounting nut.

  • The BV2000 two-way breather valve is our workhorse for large, sealed containers and has been optimized to provide maximum air flow at a low differential pressure to protect from overpressurization. One valve provides enough air flow for an internal volume of 416 ft3. An aluminum shield is provided to prevent intrusion of water during spray-down as well as wind-driven sand, dust, and rain. To manually equalize container pressure, the valve can be opened by pressing the button in the center of the shield. The valve is installed using the included hex mounting nut.
